Each project at Ankur has a mailing list of its own. In addition to these mailing lists, there are two other mailing list, namely:
As the name suggests, this is the core list for general discussions, administrative decisions, and roadmap definition processes. Volunteers wanted priviledged access to any service like CVS should ask at this mailing list.
This is a mailing list primarily for the end users. It serves as a point for feedback, bug-tracking and user support.
All Ankur volunteers are expected to be subscribed to the above two mailing lists.
General netiquette rules are applicable to all lists. Here are some of the important guidelines.
Remain On-topic.
Be polite, and avoid flame wars.
Avoid sending huge attachments to the list (nothing more than 100 KB).
Avoid sending mails in HTML.
Do not shout (capitalize).
Try to help others who are stuck with problems.
